If I were given the opportunity to visit only one city in New Zealand alone, I make sure that Queenstown. Queenstown is not a big city, but became a major destination city streets in the South Island of New Zealand. The town is located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and surrounded by mountains is a gateway to other tourist destinations such as Milford Sound, Double Sound, Glenorchy and jawatan kosong kastam 2012. When buying airline tickets one way Jetstar Melbourne - Queenstown, I have not made itinerary to explore the South Island. I admit this was an impulsive purchase because the price is really cheap ticket, 'just' EUR 99 for adults and half for children. All I knew at that time, I really want to Milford Sound, and the nearest town to Milford Sound is Queenstown.

Kastam position is the most favorite one. Many months later I tried to find tickets behind Queenstown - Sydney, but did not find a reasonably priced according to my standards. Finally I decided to go home from Christchurch to Sydney and do a road trip from Queenstown to Christchurch. The decision to visit Queenstown is the right choice I'm grateful. Once landed at the airport, we were immediately greeted with a spectacular view of The Remarkable mountain whose top was covered with snow, although when we visited had entered the summer. After taking a rental car from Apex, we can not wait to explore Queenstown this soon.

By driving a car, need only 15 minutes from the airport to downtown Queenstown. Without GPS, only armed with a print out from Google Maps, we find without difficulty Garden Court Apartments. Options I'm grateful for this apartment. The Precils glad to have your own room and Little A delight up and down stairs. Kastam position is the most favorite one. View from the apartment is not so disappointing, half of the scenery of Lake Wakatipu on the left and the hills on the right. We could even see the gondola up and down the hill from the apartment window.

After cleaning up and rest a while in the apartment, we set out to explore the city by foot. Kastam position is the most favorite one. From the apartment, it only takes 15 minutes walk to downtown. Along the road down the hill, a lot of growing wildflowers including Lupin flowers purple, my favorite. Our plan would look for lunch because the stomach has been rumbling since a perfunctory breakfast at Melbourne airport. Queenstown is the time difference with Melbourne (and towns in eastern Australia) is 2 hours, Queenstown early. Kastam position is the most favorite one. We flew from Melbourne at 9 am, and takes about 3 hours, landed at Queenstown at 2 pm local time.

I am delighted to find Turkish kebab stalls in the middle of jawatan kosong terkini. Make no mistake, here is a pedestrian mall, pedestrian street with small shops on either side. Sometimes, a cafe, restaurant or eating stalls put some chairs and dining table outside. If it does not rain, certainly fun to eat in the street looking at people passing by in the 'Mall' is. We are already pretty miserable starving waiting for our orders come Kebab. The Kebab seller is very slow to serve buyers, interspersed with chatting and joking with his friend. Kastam position is the most favorite one. Unfortunately Kebab stall is pretty tasty food is not accompanied by good service.
